Health Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar


Apple cider vinegar has been used for thousands of years as a general tonic and to treat and cure many ailments. In 400 B.C, Hypocrites, known as the father of medicine, treated patients with vinegar, making it one of the world’s first medicines. Throughout biblical times, vinegar was successfully used to treat infections and wounds. For centuries medical textbooks have listed various ways to use vinegar.

 How to take apple cider vinegar


For daily maintenance and general tonic, weight loss and pH balancing

2 teaspoons of organic apple cider vinegar in about 16 ounces of water 3 times a day

Or 2 tablespoons of acv in warm water morning and evening.

Sip, don’t glug it down in one!


For acute and more severe conditions

2 tablespoons of organic apple cider vinegar in about 16 ounces of water  3 times a day


Apple cider vinegar can also be applied directly to the skin with cotton wool (for acne and skin conditions as well as drinking it).  Or added to water for baths and foot soaking.


If you don’t like the taste of vinegar, just add to organic apple juice! (or you can add a little honey if taking as a general tonic)

    Is it OK to mix apple cider vinegar together with diatomaceous and water?

      Yes, it’s fine to mix ACV & DE. However due to DE being positively charged when in liquid (this enables toxins to bind to it to be removed from the body) There is a small chance that some of the live enzymes, vitamins and minerals from the ACV may bind to it and not be fully absorbed by the body. It’s a personal choice really. There is certainly no harm in taking them together though. I personally take a detox smoothie with DE, bentonite clay and psyllium husks once a day in the morning, and a health smoothie of ACV, and greens ( Apple cider vinegar, barley grass, wheat grass, spirulina, chlorella) in the afternoon. All the vitamins and minerals i need in just two drinks per day.
